there was a little old man who had a wee shop just around the corner from Strawberry Fields and down the street from Scarborough Fair.
 The people who lived in the town gave all of their old furniture to the little man to put in his shop.

One day, a cute little lady walked by the store and spotted an old chair in the window.  Each time she went to continue on her way, she was drawn back to stare at the chair.  Suddenly, she noticed a big tear drop from the chair to the seat.  "Was that a tear?"  she exclaimed!  "It was -- I know it!"

 She marched into the store and exclaimed "I must have that chair!"
The little man said, "O.k., but you must promise to take care of this chair, fix it and love it.  It was once much loved and needs a good home.  It has seen many generations come and go and if you are deserving of it, the chair will serve you well.

From that day forward the little lady vowed to search the world over for sad, neglected furniture to fix and repair to pass on to deserving people.
